This composition neatly straddles the line between the Static Port and Uneven Steven eras. I wrote this right before bassist Chris Jordan left the band, and I remember him briefly working on some high note parts to play over mine, but we didn't really start digging into this tune until right after he left. Essentially, this is the very first Uneven Steven song. Fittingly, guitarist Carl Blackwood mimics a second bass under the bass solo, using an octave pedal. I have reservations about some of my earlier compositions, but I'm still quite proud of this one.
